MGPL Going Green

Farewell and Hello to DYK!

Filed under: Going Green at MGPL, Uncategorized

We at the Morton Grove Public Library started this blog in the summer of 2008 as part of the Going Green Campaign to raise awareness of environmental and climate issues.  Since that time, we have filmed videos on environmental topics, created a “Going Green on the Green” mini-golf activity, hosted a number of programs at the Library featuring going green topics, and posted timely and topical information to this blog.

We’ve been successful in attracting readers like you to this blog (and hopefully from there to our web site), and hope you have found it interesting, entertaining, and helpful.

As we wrapped up our campaign a few months ago, and with green living having become main stream, we decided to incorporate going-green postings into our Did You Know? (DYK) blog. The  Did You Know? blog covers a wide variety of topics, and our “green” entries will find a great home there.

With that said, this is the last posting on this blog. We invite you to continue reading our entries on green and other issues on our Did You Know? blog. See you there!
