MGPL Going Green

In a global effort to raise awareness about environmental issues, cities in more than 64 countries will observe Earth Hour. Participants in Earth Hour are encouraged to turn lights off for one hour at 8:30pm on March 28. Last year, Chicago’s participation resulted in a 7% savings of electricity (as reported by ComEd).
